Muntari moved to Albacete

Sulley Muntari became an Albacete player. That was reported via the Spanish club official website. The player has signed a contract for half a year.

The 34-year-old midfielder had free-agent status for the past six months, after leaving Deportivo in the summer.

Muntari held the last match at a professional level on April 29, 2018. It was Deportivo’s defeat against Barcelona.

Muntari is known for playing for AC Milan, Inter, Udinese, Portsmouth and Sunderland. The player also played for Italian Pescara and Al-Ittihad from Saudi Arabia.

The Ghanaian footballer has won one Champions League trophy (Inter), one Club World Cup title (Inter), FA Cup (Portsmouth), as well as two Italian Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia trophies and one Italian Super Cup with Inter Milan.
