Mourinho: Finish in Top 4 will be a miracle for United

Jose said in the previous season that second place in the EPL would be a great achievement for his squad, given the strength of other teams. Nevertheless, Jose is not so optimistic now.

“Problems at the beginning of this season were waiting for us, as I predicted before the start of the campaign. Our goal is to score the maximum points. If we manage to finish in the top four, then it can be called almost a miracle” quotes Jose RedeTV.

Recall that just a couple of weeks ago, the Portuguese promised that the Red Devils would return to the UCL zone by the New Year.

But now United are at 7th place with 22 points from 14 matches and 8 points behind Arsenal, occupying 4th place.

Recall, Mourinho’s wards came from 2 goals down to rescue a 2-2 draw against Southampton in the EPL on Saturday.
