Mönchengladbach beat Schalke to become second
Borussia Monchengladbach defeated Schalke 04 in the 20th round match of the Bundesliga. Yesterday’s battle, that was held in Gelsenkirchen, ended with a 2:0 score in favor of the guests.
Borussia scored both goals at the end of the game. Christoph Kramer and Florian Neuhaus with their accurate strikes help Gladbach to climb to second.
The hosts played with 10 men from the middle of the second half when Alexander Nubel was sent off in the 59th minute.
After this victory, Borussia scored 42 points and moved to second place in the standing, ahead of Bayern Munich according to additional performance indicators.
The 2018-19 German Bundesliga table is headed by Borussia Dortmund on 49 points. Schalke are just in 12th place with 22 points.
