According to rumors, Monaco’s head coach Thierry Henry wants to invite Tottenham’s midfielder Mousa Dembele to his team. Mauricio Pochettino prefers not to take part in the transfer and fully trusts the player’s fate in the hands of Daniel Levy.

The midfielder cheerfully started the season but suffered a knee injury, which will allow him to return to the game only at the beginning of 2019. Mousa rejected the club’s proposal for a new deal and is going to finalize the current agreement to the end.

In the summer of 2019, Dembele will become a free agent and be able to make decisions about his own future. Thierry Henry wants to take advantage of the situation and offer the midfielder a very impressive contract.

22-year-old Harry Winks and 24-year-old Eric Dier ousted 31-year-old Dembele from the Spurs’s starting eleven in this season.

The injury doesn’t add chances to the Belgian to win his place in the starting line-up, and therefore the player’s departure from White Hart Lane will be beneficial for both sides.
