Monaco can sign Pepe and Vida
Monaco are interested in buying Besiktas’ defender Domagoj Vida, reports Fanatik.
According to the source, the Monegasques will offer €8 million for the 29-year-old Croatia national team player in the near future.
Vida moved to Besiktas in January of 2018 as a free agent. Before the Turkish club, the defender had been playing at Dynamo Kyiv, Dinamo Zagreb, Bayer Leverkusen and Osijek. Domagoj has played 22 matches for Besiktas in all tournaments in the current season, receiving three yellow and one red card.
Also, according to rumors, Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes is trying to find a new club for his client Pepe, who is in the free agent status now. Monaco are called among the main contenders for the experienced player. Pepe played 10 matches in the Turkish Super League for Besiktas in the current season and scored three goals.
After 18 matches, Monaco have 13 points and are occupying 19th place in the Ligue 1 standings.
