Barcelona defeated Levante with a score of 5:0 in the battle of the 16th round of the LaLiga and that victory became the 323rd for Lionel Messi. It is reported according to the official Twitter of the League.

Recall that 38-year-old Xavi, as well as Messi, who plays for Barcelona since his childhood, played for the club from 1998 to 2015. The midfielder plays for Al Sadd from Qatar now.

31-year-old Messi made his debut in the Primera on October 16, 2004 in the match with Espanyol (1:0), which ended with his first victory. Messi is the top scorer in the history of Barca, having scored 572 goals.

According to this indicator, he is more than twice ahead of the closest pursuer, Cesar Rodriguez (232).

Moreover, Messi is the best scorer in the history of the UCL group stage.

The Catalans’ forward Leo Messi will have the title of record holder at least until next fall.

In the group stage of the Champions League draw 2018/19, the Argentinian striker played just four games, while later – against PSV – appeared on the field only in the second half.
