Paris Saint-Germain’s forward Kilian Mbappé commented on the away victory over Manchester United in Champions League’s Round of 16 (2:0).

“The next round is closer to us. We are pleased with the result, but there will be second leg.

“We will be preparing for the next three weeks. In the final 20 minutes of the match, we were clearly tired, so we need to work on it,” the Frenchman said.

PSG came out with a bit unusual formation, so it took a few minutes to adapt. There were too many players in the midfield. United ran to score at the beginning of the second half, but in the end we managed to score our first goal, and then the second.

“The coach told me that I would not be able to get the ball as often as usual. He asked me not to play too deeply, since I had to search for space behind the backs of the defenders. It was a little difficult, because I’m just getting used to such a new role. But in the end I scored a goal, and we won 2-0,” Kilian concluded.
