Mbappe allocated $35 000 for the search of Emiliano Sala
Paris Saint-Germain performer Kylian Mbappé helped in the search for
missing Argentine soccer player Emiliano Sala, the BBC reports.
The Parisians’ attacker sponsored this search operation and donated 35 000 dollars.
Recall that the plane with Sala disappeared over the English Channel
on January 21. And only on February 3, the crashed aircraft was discovered along with the bodies of the football player and pilot David Ibbotson.
Sala’s former club – Nantes paid a final tribute to their former striker in a 4-2 home defeat against Nimes in Ligue 1 on Sunday, three days after the Argentine was confirmed dead in a plane crash.
Sala, 28, had been flying from Nantes in western France to Wales to make his debut for Premier League team Cardiff City when the single-engined Piper Malibu aircraft disappeared over the sea.
