The upcoming match between Fulham and Manchester United will not be the central duel of the Premier League’s 26th round, nevertheless it is still worth your attention.

The team that completely failed the first half of the season is hardly able to take points away from the team, which has changed since early December and show surprisingly solid football game. Yet, there are some questions to Manchester United, but compared to Fulham, they are like chalk and cheese. Almost the only trump card of the Londoners is their home field.

In England, active discussions on whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is suitable for the role of Manchester United permanent coach are continuing. The results, which the team shows under the leadership of the Norwegian, do speak in favor of the 45-year-old specialist.

Today’s battle at Craven Cottage is Manchester United’s latest test before the team hosts PSG.

It seemed that with the arrival of Claudio Ranieri, Fulham would gradually get out of the relegation zone.

A spectacular strong-willed victory over Brighton and Hove (4:2) put that idea in our heads, but then there was a well-deserved defeat from Crystal Palace (0:2) – and now the Londoners’ situation in the Premier League standings looks very deplorable.

The team of Claudio Ranieri still sits in nineteenth place, which is one of the three lowest, seven points behind 17th place. Fulham players managed to attain only one victory while suffered four defeats in the last five matches.

Ranieri’s wards have a very difficult calendar ahead: after Manchester United, the Cottagers will play against West Ham and Southampton, and then meet with Chelsea, Leicester, Liverpool and Manchester City.

The teams’ last battle ended with a major victory of Manchester United (4:1). Of course, the guests at Craven Cottage are favorites of the match, and extra motivation for Manchester United is just two points behind Chelsea.
