Mata ready to sign new deal with United
Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata hinted that he was ready to extend his contract with the club.
Juan Mata marked Premier League’s current season with seven appearances in the starting line-up, having scored two goals and assisted partners twice.
And although Juan isn’t a solid starting line-up’s player, the Red Devils’ head coach Jose Mourinho considers his former Chelsea’s player an important member of the locker room.
While the club bosses haven’t supported Mourinho and aren’t in a hurry to extend Mata’s contract, which expires at the end of the season, Juan himself is ready to linger at Old Trafford.
Juan said that he had no news regarding the contract, but there was one main fact – he is very happy at United. He has been performing in England for many years and he likes this country. Mata feels particularly good in Manchester, so he is ready to stay at the club.
Note, that, according to rumors, Arsenal’s Unai Emery is interested in the situation around Mata’s contract and he is ready to make an offer to the former Valencia midfielder already this winter.
