Juan Mata wants to stay in Manchester, but the club offers the Spaniard only a one-year contract. His current agreement with the Red Devils is valid until summer.

According to The Telegraph, the leadership of United proposed the Spaniard a new agreement, which will only be valid for one season.

Mata is dissatisfied with the offer of the club, as he wanted to sign a contract for a longer period.

Thus, Juan does not want to sign a one-year contract with the Red Devils and may leave the club as a free agent in the coming summer.

This season, the Spaniard has taken part in 23 games for United, in which he scored five goals and gave two assists.

Moreover, Arsenal are going to lure Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata in the summer, Daily Mirror reports.

The Gunners’ mentor Unai Emery totally wants to get the Spaniard. Moreover, he worked with Juan at Valencia.
