Mandanda played 500th match for Marseille
The Ligue 1 match against Angers became the 500th in the career of the Olympians’ goalkeeper Mandanda.
Steve Mandanda came out in the First XI for the League 1 away match against Angers, what ended with a 1:1 draw.
Thus, the Frenchman spent his 500th match for the Phocaeans in all tournaments.
33-year-old Mandanda won 377 matches in Ligue 1, 43 in the Champions League, 43 in the Europa League UEFA Cup, 21 in the French Cup, 14 in the French League Cup and two in the French Super Cup.
He missed 545 goals and kept a clean sheet 164 times.
Mandanda moved to Marseille from Le Havre in the summer of 2007, initially on loan, and was bought out for 2.5 million euros the following summer. Steve moved to Crystal Palace as a free agent, but after a season he returned to Olympique for three million euros in summer 2016.
