Manchester City won’t fight for Isco
Manchester City won’t fight for Real Madrid and the Spain national team’s playmaker Isco.
Isco is far from his best shape in Madrid this season, and it has been rumored for quite some time that the 26-year-old Spaniard is going to change the club in January.
It is authentically known that the Citizens has a long-standing interest in Isco, but Josep Guardiola has no problems with the creative midfielders at the moment. City are ready to give up the Spaniard without a fight against Chelsea and Arsenal.
Right now, Guardiola can count on creativity in the centre of the field from such players as David Silva, Bernardo, Ilkay Gundogan, as well as Kevin De Bruyne, who recovered from his injury, and Phil Foden, who has just signed a new contract. The Premier League’s champions simply don’t need Isco.
According to the Evening Standard, a defensive midfielder’s purchasing remains City’s main goal in the transfer market. However, the Citizens aren’t going to hurry with this and are ready to acquire Fernandinho’s successor after the end of the season.
