Malcom joined Barcelona’s crowded infirmary

Blaugranas midfielder Malcom was injured in the duel with Leonesa.

On the eve, the Catalans beat Cultural Leonesa with the score of 4:1 and got a ticket to the Copa del Rey 1/8 finals.

In that match, Malcom, who wasn’t so often on the field in the current season, managed to distinguish himself with a goal, but as a result, the Brazilian received a serious injury.

According to Barcelona’s official website, Malcom sprained his ankle in thr match with Leonesa and will be left for an indefinite period. The player will undergo an in-depth medical examination in the near future, which will determine the approximate terms of his recovery.

Thus, the Brazilian joined a number of key-players in Barcelona’s infirmary – Sergi Roberto, Luis Suarez, Rafinha, Samuel Umtiti, Arthur and Arturo Vidal.
