Lukaku risks to miss the rest of the season
Manchester United fear that striker Romelu Lukaku won’t play in this season anymore because of a hamstring injury.
Before the final matches of the season, the Red Devils occupy only sixth place in the Premier League, and they need to hope for a misfire of competitors and win themselves in order to count on getting into the Top 4.
And to win, United need to score goals, but Lukaku will hardly help with that. ESPN learned on Tuesday, that Romelu had an in-depth examination, and doctors were thinking about taking care of the costly player in the rest of the season, who might soon be sold.
We add that Lukaku’s competitor for the central striker’s position, Marcus Rashford, also has problems with health. Marcus demanded a forced sub in Sunday’s match against Chelsea because of heightened problems with his shoulder.
