Mircea Lucescu will no longer be working in Turkey.

The official website of the Football Federation of Turkey announced that the head coach of the national team, Mircea Lucescu, was dismissed from his post.

Under the leadership of the Romanian specialist, the Turkey national team took last place in their UEFA Nations League group with Russia and Sweden, and relegated from Division B.

It is reported that the contract was terminated by mutual consent of the two parties.

The ex-coach of Shaktar Donetsk headed the national team in summer 2017.

Moreover, Mircea told that would like to continue coaching but only at one of the clubs. Lucescu spoke about a few offers from the Russian teams.
