Louis Saha: Zidane is the best choice for United

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha believes that an ideal candidate for the Red Devils’ new permanent manager role is not at all Mauricio Pochettino and not even Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but Zinedine Zidane.

Last Wednesday, United bosses announced Solskjaer as the team’s temporary manager until the end of the season. This act buys the Devils some time to calmly think about who will take the head coach post in the next season.

Solskjaer has already stated that he would like to get this job on an ongoing basis, while United’s chief executive Ed Woodward considers Tottenham’s Pochettino as the main candidate for the post. However, Saha sees a better option.

Louis admitted that he personally saw Zidane as an ideal candidate for the manager position at United. Zinedine was an exceptional player and became the same manager. He achieved incredible success in terms of communication with footballers. When he is speaking, everybody is listening.

Zidane knows how to save a balance between attack and defence. He had 3 attacking monsters at Real Madrid and, somehow, he was able to get them back and help the team in defence.
