Liverpool have joined the fight for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is approaching the final 12 months of his contract.

Recall Hudson-Odoi rushed to leave Stamford Bridge in January when Bayern made several offers to buy him and Callum himself filed a request for transfer.

Then the Blues chose to keep their youngster, hoping that in Hudson-Odoi would come to his senses and link his future with the club after the current campaign. However, there are no prerequisites for this so far – Maurizio Sarri still doesn’t indulge Callum with his trust.

Already today, against the Czech Republic or on Monday against Montenegro, Hudson-Odoi can set a unique achievement by becoming a player who will mark his first appearance in the starting line-up of the England national team earlier than for his Premier League club.

It is expected that at the end of the season Bayern will return for the 18-year-old Englishman. However, the Germans won’t be alone this time. According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund are ready to fight for Hudson-Odoi, because they are in search for a replacement for Jadon Sancho, who Manchester United are showing interest in.

Liverpool are going to compete with Bundesliga’s grandees in the fight for Callum. The Reds are monitoring the situation closely and ready to intervene at the right time.
