Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard is confident that his team will be able to fight for the Premier League title in the next season.

Having won all their matches under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer except for one, the Red Devils returned to the fight for the Premier League’s Top-4. At the moment, United are just two points behind 4th-placed Chelsea.

Naturally, there can be no talk of fighting for the title in this campaign. However, Lingard believes in Solskjaer’s ability to turn United into a real participant in the championship race, where the Devils haven‘t yet succeeded since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

According to the Englishman, Solskjaer and Phelan managed to bring back the spirit of that old United. They knew the league and the club from the inside, so they perfectly conveyed that to the players and made them play better.

Jesse thinks Solskjaer is doing his job very well. No one can blame him. He put a heavy burden on himself, but from the very beginning, he knew what he was up to. The players supported him immediately.
