The UEFA Executive Committee announced punishment for Arsenal’s striker Alexander Lacazette.

He was shown a straight red card in the 85th minute for felling Aleksandar Filipovic with an elbow and the Frenchman apologised for his actions after the Europa League’s Round of 32 first leg against BATE.

The French striker is suspended for 3 games. Thus, Alexander will miss both matches against Stade Rennais in the Round of 16, as well as the first game of the quarter-finals, if the Gunners manage to get into the next round.

That red card in the game with the Belarusian club became the third in the career of the Frenchman.
