Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany said that he was relaxed about the situation with a new contract.

Recently, Josep Guardiola admitted that he wasn’t sure about Kompany’s future. The Citizens’ head coach hinted that Vincent could leave the club as a free agent at the end of the season if he didn’t solve his health problems.

However, the 32-year-old defender, who has played only 14 games for City in the current season, isn’t afraid to be left without a club. At the moment, Kompany is focused on fighting for four trophies.

Vincent admitted that he was lucky because he had a very warm relationship with the club’s leadership. No one is going to make hasty decisions. There are still a lot of matches ahead and Kompany still has a valid contract.

Everyone needs to forget about Vincent’s contract for a while and try to finish the season as successfully as possible. After that, it will be possible to discuss any further actions.
