Klopp want Liverpool to score 97 points

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp set a goal for his team to score 97 points till the end of the Premier League season, ignoring all distractions.

The 2-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday allowed the Reds to keep the lead in the Premier League at the end of the round. However, Manchester City, who are two points behind, still have one more game to play.

Fans still do not forget about Liverpool’s match against Leicester at the end of January, when the Reds played only in a draw, and subsequently completely missed the initiative in the title race.

Klopp encourages his players to ignore such conversations and focus only on the things that Liverpool can influence on.

According to Klopp, players may lose concentration if they are distracted by the results of City. At the moment, Liverpool have 85 points. There are 4 matches left until the end of the season, which means a team can score as much as 97 points. This was exactly the task that Jurgen set for his players.
