Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp plans to strengthen the Reds’ defensive line in the coming summer.

At the moment, the Reds continue to fight for the Premier League title. However, their dream to win their first title in the last 29 years is threatened with problems in defense.

Trent Alexander-Arnold got injured after Jurgen Klopp allowed Nathaniel Clyne to go on loan. Also, it became clear that Joe Gomez needed surgery on a broken leg. Dejan Lovren also has problems with his health.

According to The Sun, Klopp was open to buying a defender already in January, but the club’s sporting director Michael Edwards didn’t manage to find a suitable player.

The Reds are planning to return to solving this problem, associated with the defensive line’s excessive fragility, in the coming summer.
