Former Chelsea and England national team captain John Terry admitted that he didn’t miss playing football.

As a player, Terry played 759 matches at the club level and another 78 at the international. During his career, John won 15 big trophies, including five Premier League titles and one Champions League trophy.

From this season, 38-year-old Terry is an assistant of Dean Smith at Aston Villa, where he spent the final season of his playing career. John doesn’t miss the old days.

John admitted that sometimes when he watched the Premier League or League Cup matches, he got the feeling that he wanted to return to the field. However, Terry doesn’t want to expose himself to such pressure again, which he felt throughout his career, and especially strong at its final stage. He didn’t get pleasure from that and therefore he was very pleased to complete his playing career.
