Inter will try to reach the knockouts
Inter were unable to take away at least one point from London, on which the team hoped for, having lost minimally. The defeat complicated the situation for the Nerazzurri because the fate of reaching the next stage is not in their hands.
Now the team needs only to win PSV, a draw will not satisfy the hosts. They need to wait for unmotivated Barcelona to draw or win Tottenham in the other group’s match. In case both games end with a draw, the Spurs will enter the next stage, thanks to their away goal.
The team of Spalletti can’t get a victory in the last 3 games of the Champions League: defeats by Tottenham (0:1) and Barcelona (0:2), as well as a home draw with the Catalans (1:1).
PSV have one point in the asset, gained in the game against Tottenham (2:2). Of course, there are no chances for qualifying from the group or to the UEL. Though, the Dutch showed a good game and scored five goals.
