The Milanese giants offer €40 million for the Croat.

Inter Milan are close to signing Barcelona’s midfielder Ivan Rakitic this summer. Gazzetta dello Sport reported that today.

A positive factor on the Nerazzurri’s side is the fact that the club bosses are willing to pay €40 million to the Catalan club.

It was reported that the club’s CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio has met with Blaugranas’ representatives and discussed some details of the transfer.

Barcelona require €45 million, but, most likely, a compromise between the parties won’t be long in coming.

Earlier it was already reported about Rakitic’s desire to move to San Siro.
