Playmaker Eden Hazard won’t sign a new contract, even if Chelsea decide to keep him in the team for the rest of the year under the current agreement.

According to The Telegraph, Real Madrid want to arrange Hazard’s transfer as soon as possible but aren’t ready to pay 100 million pounds, counting this amount too high for the 28-year-old player, considering the remaining 12 months under his expiring contract.

Eden himself can put pressure on the club from Stamford Bridge. According to the publication, the Belgium national team player doesn’t plan to extend his contract with Chelsea, even if the club decides to keep him for the season 2019/20.

Hazard doesn’t even agree to sit down at the negotiating table with the Blues again and listen to a fresh proposal, and this may become a decisive factor why Eden will leave.
