Marek Hamsik damaged the back of the thigh.

Napoli were defeated in the match with Inter (0:1) in the 18th round of Serie A.

In addition, Carlo Ancelotti, for sure, will not be able to count on Marek Hamsik in the next battles. The playmaker felt discomfort in the back of the thigh and was unable to continue the match in the 24th minute of the game. Nikola Maksimovic came on the field instead of the Slovak.

Also, Kalidou Koulibaly and Lorenzo Insigne will not be able to help the Neapolitans in the next match – both received a red card. Napoli will take Bologna at home on December 29.

So, Hamsik is Napoli’s record-holder in the number of matches played. The 31-year-old Slovak moved from Brescia to Naples in 2007.
