The performer of Emery’s squad, Matteo Guendouzi, confirmed that he had had the opportunity to go to PSG instead of the Gunners.

After arriving at Emirates from Lorient for 7 million pounds, the 19-year-old Frenchman immediately became the main player of the team from North London and has played 20 matches in all competitions this season.

PSG, where he spent several years as a junior, also followed Genduzi in the summer. However, the choice in favor of Arsenal was simple.

“It is true that PSG showed interest this summer, like other clubs.”

“There were a lot of talks, but for me personally, Arsenal were always the best choice. As soon as they turned to me, I didn’t hesitate for a second and focused solely on their offer” Guendouzi said to Canal+.
