Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola shared his expectations of the upcoming meeting with Liverpool in the 21st round match of the Premier League.

Pep admitted that he considered Liverpool the best team of the League and in the whole world. If his team fails to beat Liverpool in the next match, the race for the Premier League title will be over. Guardiola believes that if Liverpool win, the championship can be ended.

The Reds head up the standings of the Premier League after 20 rounds, gaining 54 points and not having suffered a single defeat. Manchester City have 47 points. The gap between the teams will be increased to 10 points in the case of the Citizens’ losing.

The match will take place on January 3 at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
