Atletico forward Antoine Griezmann commented on Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong’s game, who will be move to LaLiga’s club Barcelona this summer.

“Who is the most difficult opponent in my career? I would call the name of Frenkie de Jong. Because I tried to put pressure on him, but I didn’t succeed,” Goal.com quoted Griezmann.

It is noted that Griezmann and De Jong met on the field twice in the group stage of the UEFA Nations League, where they played for the national teams of France and the Netherlands respectively.

Recall, Griezmann scored a goal, what became the 130th for the French striker for the Madrid team a few weeks ago. He surpassed Fernando Torres’ achievement and became the fifth scorer in Atletico’ history. To climb the line above, Griezmann needs to score five goals more.
