Atletico striker Antoine Griezmann said he liked the style of his team.

Simeone’s style was different from what I was used to at Real Sociedad.

“He has more defensive work in terms of tactics. I have to study, look at partners and listen. In a couple of months I managed to play well in the first team,” the player confessed.

“I like our playing style and I try to teach our newcomers. Diego Simeone brought us success and we will not exchange him for anything.

“Simeone’s attackers have to do rough work, which is difficult at first, because they are not used to it. Or one can prefer to stay ahead and wait for the ball. But it is impossible here,” the Frenchman said.

“Everyone must work out and help each other in defense. It is necessary to take the ball away. Gradually, one begins to enjoy this game and defensive pressure.

“All this gives confidence when you have the ball” UEFA’s Press Service quotes the striker.
