Griezmann beat Torres record for number of goals for Atletico

Atletico forward Antoine Griezmann brought victory to his team in Saturday’s match against Rayo Vallecano (1:0).

In the framework of LaLiga’s 24th round, Atletico beat Rayo Vallecano thanks to a goal from Antoine Griezmann.

Thus, this goal scored became the 130th for the French striker at the Madrid team. He surpassed Fernando Torres’ achievement and became the fifth scorer in Atletico’ history. To climb the line above, Griezmann needs to score five goals more.

Griezmann has 12 goals and 8 assists in 24 LaLiga matches for Atletico in the current season.
