Grealish will be available for 60 million pounds

The buyout clause under midfielder Jack Grealish contract with Aston Villa is 60 million pounds, which is much more than Tottenham and other clubs are ready to invest in the player’s purchase.

Last summer, when Aston Villa were defeated in the Championship playoffs final, Spurs were thinking whether to pay £25 million requested for Grealish.

As a result, the Villans solved their financial problems on their own by inviting American investors, and Jack signed a new contract, thanks to which his salary tripled – up to 70 thousand pounds a week, which made Grealish the highest-paid player in the Championship.

Tottenham have long known that the new contract includes a fixed price for the player. However, interested clubs hoped that this cost would be in the range of 30-45 million pounds.

At Villa Park, they are completely unwilling to part with Grealish, but at the same time, they realize that they will have to let their captain go if the right proposition comes in.
