The leadership of Genoa allowed coach Cesare Prandelli to finalize the season despite unsatisfactory results.

Until the end of the season, Genoa will not make any changes – Sky Sport Italia reported.

After the recent defeat at Torino, Italian media sources told about Cesare Prandelli’s possible dismissal and even announced that his successor would be Davide Ballardini.

However, the Griffins’ president Enrico Preziosi decided that there was no point to do that five rounds before the end of the championship, despite the fact that Genoa are separated from the relegation zone by only five points.

This season, Prandelli became the third coach of Genoa, replacing Ivan Jurić in December, who took the place of Davide Ballardini in October.
