Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino said he enjoyed the English tradition of playing football at Christmas.

Firmino helped his team to celebrate the 0:2 victory over Wolverhampton, thanks to which Liverpool were guaranteed to celebrate Christmas on top of the Premier League.

However, the Reds have no time to celebrate either their leadership or Christmas, because they are waiting for another match on Boxing Day – against Newcastle. The Brazil national team player is delighted to play with such a busy schedule at this time of year.

Firmino admitted that he was already used to such a schedule. He has been playing for Liverpool since 2015. In Germany, at this time, teams go on vacation, but in England, the clubs continue to play to give fans more enjoyment during the Christmas period. Roberto is completely satisfied with this situation, as footballers play for fans, first of all.
