Firmino became the best Brazilian goal-scorer in Premier League
Roberto Firmino bypassed Philippe Coutinho and became the best Brazilian goal-scorer in the Premier League history.
Bobby Firmino scored a hat-trick in the match against Arsenal in the 20th Premier League round, in which Liverpool smashed the Gunners (5:1).
Firmino scored his 43 goal in the Premier League and became the most productive Brazilian player. Roberto bypassed Coutinho, who had 41 goals scored. The forward also became the third Brazilian who managed to score a hat-trick in the Premier League.
Recall that Liverpool destroyed Arsenal at Anfield with the score of 5:1 in yesterday’s match. The overwhelming number of goals were scored after Arsenal defenders’ mistakes.
After the match, Unai Emery acknowledged that his team deserved defeat, but didn’t deserve such a score. The Spaniard admitted that Arsenal should defend better, especially in a match against such a rival, who could take advantage of every mistake.
