Fernandinho refuses to go to the Brazil national team due to threats from fans.

The 33-year-old midfielder asked Seleção’s mentor Tite not to call him for the next matches.

“Fernandinho is the first player I want to call. But his family faced with the cruelty of the fans. He promised his relatives that he would not return again” – El Espanol quotes Tite.

Recall that Fernandinho scored an own goal in the quarterfinals of the 2018 World Cup with Belgium (1:2) and the fans considered him one of the perpetrators of the defeat.

At club level, the Brazilian scored a goal and gave 3 assists in 32 City’s battles of the current season.
