Fabinho: Alisson is undoubtedly the best goalkeeper in Premier League

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho said that his partner at the club and the Brazil national team, Alisson, is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.

Alisson conceded only seven goals in 17 matches of the Premier League, and it helped the Reds to keep the lead in EPL. In addition,  the former AS Roma goalkeeper made a great contribution to Liverpool’s qualifying to the Champions League’s playoffs stage.

However, some flaws in Alisson’s game are still present. The 26-year-old Brazilian recklessly dribbled in the match against Leicester earlier this season and embarrassingly lost the ball after a cross from the flank in the match against Manchester United last Sunday.

Liverpool were punished by goals in both situations, however, those mistakes didn’t turn Fabinho’s opinion about Alisson, whom he continued to consider the best in the Premier League.

Fabinho believes that it was a regular gaming episode in the match against Manchester United. That moment cannot be considered as Alisson’s mistake. It happens and no one can be immune from such mistakes.
