The FA is investigating allegations against Manchester City regarding winger Jadon Sancho’s transfer in 2015.

Recall, last week, the German edition of Der Spiegel published a material based on Football Leaks’ information, about how the Citizens managed to acquire Sancho, who was later sold to Borussia Dortmund for £7 million.

It is alleged that City actually bribed agent Emeka Obasi in the amount of £200,000, fictitiously arranging Jadon’s representative to join the club as a scout.

These accusations have not gone unnoticed. The Association’s official representative has already confirmed to Sky Sports that Sancho’s transfer will be thoroughly checked.

Recall the FA and FIFA rules do not allow football agents to represent the interests of players until the age of 16. Sancho was only 14 years old at the time of his transfer to City.
