Emery is thinking about United already
Arsenal manager Unai Emery said that he had no time to celebrate the victory in the derby against Tottenham, and he was already thinking about how to destroy his next big opponent, Manchester United, on Wednesday evening.
Having scored three goals in the second half of Sunday’a match at Emirates, the Gunners pulled out a victory in the North London derby with a score of 4:2 and bypassed their neighbours in the Premier League table.
However, Arsenal will have one more difficult match ahead already on Wednesday – against Manchester United, who desperately need points. All Emery’s thoughts are about that now.
Emery said that his team achieved a great victory in the derby and above all, he was happy for the fans for whom that was also a very big game.
However, this is only another three points and Unai doesn’t see the huge difference between 3 points with Bournemouth and 3 points with Tottenham.
Arsenal will play their next match in two days, on Wednesday, and Old Trafford isn’t the easiest place to gain 3 points. Unai has already begun preparations for this game with his headquarters.
