Arsenal head coach Unai Emery is convinced that Liverpool are able to go through the entire Premier League season without any defeat.

The Reds have suffered no defeat in the Premier League and lost only six points for the first half of the season, including two points against the Gunners at Emirates in November (1:1).

On the eve of the return match at Anfield on Saturday, Emery admitted that he saw a good example for Arsenal represented by Liverpool. Unai believes that Jurgen Klopp’s team is able to repeat Arsene Wenger’s famous “unbeaten” achievement in the 2003/04 season.

Emery said that he had something to compare. He perfectly remembers the Europa League final, when his Sevilla beat Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool with the score of 3:1.

Liverpool’s progress is obvious. Three years ago, the Reds couldn’t get into the Champions League either through the Premier League or through the Europa League. However, the team has made incredible progress since then and is quite able to go through the whole season without a defeat.

Emery considers Liverpool an excellent example and hopes that his team will succeed in making such progress. This requires time, patience, work and financial investments.
