The midfielder returned from Rangers to Liverpool ahead of time, having failed to impress Steven Gerrard in Glasgow.

The Merseyside club entered into a new long-term contract with the talented Englishman, after which he was loaned by Gerrard to the end of the season.

Ovie Ejaria played 28 matches for Rangers, including 11 Europa League’s matches, and scored two goals. However, he did not manage to really get used to Scotland. In the overwhelming majority of the fights, he only came out on the field as a substitute.

After negotiations between the two clubs and the player’s family, it was decided to terminate the loan agreement ahead of time.

Now, Ejaria returns to his native club and will train at Melwood, after which Liverpool’s mentor Jurgen Klopp will decide whether to leave Ovie till the end of the season or send him somewhere else.
