Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba shared his vision of favorites in the fight for the Golden Ball award in the current year.

Drogba admitted that he genuinely supported Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman is his main favourite. The young striker is demonstrating an incredible football, especially considering his age, so Drogba hopes that Kylian will receive the award. That would be fantastic.

Also, Didier asks not to forget about Cristiano Ronaldo, since he is still acting as a machine despite the fact that he will turn 34 in February. Drogba doesn’t get tired to admire Cristiano, who wasn’t afraid to change the championship at 33 after winning Champions League for the third time in a row. He moved to Serie A, where the teams are sharpened for defence, but even here he continues to score goals regularly.

The Golden Ball award ceremony will be held in Paris on December 3. It was reported earlier that Juventus’ striker won’t come to the ceremony. Recall, Cristiano is the owner of five Golden Balls (2008, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017).
