Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt agreed on the terms of a personal contract with Barcelona leadership. It was reported by Catalunya Radio.

It is noted that De Ligt’s agent, Mino Raiola, met with Barcelona representatives in Monte Carlo, where he agreed on the terms of the contract for his client and salary. However, the parties haven’t signed anything yet.

According to Transfermakt, 70 million euros is the Netherlands national team defender’s transfer value right now. The current agreement between De Ligt and Ajax expires in 2021. Matthijs has played 54 matches for Ajax this season, in which he scored seven goals and gave four assists.
