Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong’s father expressed confidence in his son’s departure from Amsterdam in the summer transfer window and also called the team, which, in his opinion, would become an ideal place to continue the player’s career.

De Jong’s father said that his son was a very smart guy and he would decide very carefully on where to continue his career. He will leave Ajax with a 95% probability; however, he hasn’t yet said exactly where he wants to go.

From the father’s point of view, Barcelona are the perfect place to continue one’s career. His son will be able to learn new things from the legendary players there. In addition, a player can not neglect the opportunity to play alongside such players as Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. In addition, Barcelona are the team that always gives young players time to play and it is here where young talents can truly shine.

It was reported earlier that Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Juventus and Bayern Munich were interested in De Jong’s services. The other day there was an information in the media that the Paris club was as close as possible to the agreement with Ajax about the 21-year-old player’s transfer.
