De Jong likes Manchester City’s style

Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong admitted that he liked Manchester City game style.

According to rumors, the Citizens see 21-year-old De Jong as their priority goal for the role of Fernandinho’s successor, who will turn 34 at the end of this season. In an interview with The Guardian, Frenkie reassured the Premier League champions that he was watching them.

The Dutchman admitted that he liked to watch City because their team was consisted of the top-class players.

De Jong admires Guardiola’s style. His teams possess the ball and always returns it after the loss very quickly. When you look at how his team is playing the combinations, you want to go out and do it with them.

The midfielder said that it was difficult to say whether he would leave the team after that season. At the moment, he is focused on completing the current season successfully. After that, it will be clear whether he stays or not.
