Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne does not think that excessive fatigue was the cause of his two injuries in the current season.
This season, De Bruyne has played 96 minutes so far in the EPL, suffering injuries of both knees. The other day, the Citizens’ coach Josep Guardiola suggested that it was due to accumulated fatigue, because after the hard last campaign Kevin went to the Mundiale with the Belgium national team.

However, the player writes off his injuries for an accident. 27-year-old De Bruyne rejects the suggestion that he began the new season not fully rested.

De Bruyne said there was nothing to be done about it as there had been two accidents and he was not tired. Kevin thinks people always need a good summer vacation, because performers sometimes play for 11 and a half months, and time for rest is not enough.
