Chelsea defender David Luiz said that it was one of the best seasons in his career, but it was hard to realize that the Blues failed to fight for the Premier League title.

In the run-up to the upcoming derby against Tottenham on Wednesday, Maurizio Sarri’s wards are only sixth in the Premier League. However, the fight to get into the Top 4 wasn’t what Luiz wanted, although he was satisfied with his own game.

According to the defender, Chelsea must fight for victory in the Premier League only, but the club is too far from this goal now, so the players’ mood isn’t good. The players must pass this stage.

The Brazilian himself is pleased with his game and considers this season one of the best in his career in terms of quality of his game. However, this isn’t counted if the team doesn’t win.
