The conquest of the Carabao Cup resulted in the loss of Man City leading players in the face of Aymeric Laporte and Fernandinho due to injuries.

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte who played all 27 matches of the Citizens in the Premier League, was replaced by Vincent Kompany because of problems with the back of the thigh during the break of Sunday’s final against Chelsea .

Another City’s performer – Fernandinho damaged groin muscles shortly before the end of regular time, giving up his place to Danilo in extra-time. Now they both risk to stay in the hospital for several weeks.

Josep Guardiola told to Sky Sports that he was shocked with that situation and worried about the club success in other tournaments.
